TX --2188 (III) diatomite setting adhesive is a two-component (A/C)
acrylate copolymerization lotion adhesive, which is mainly applicable to diatomite
and other adsorption materials powder solid forming spherical or columnar
solid. There are unique functional groups between the A/C components that
undergo crosslinking reactions, resulting in high hardness and good water
resistance after curing. Using less glue, reducing pore blockage, and having
excellent adsorption performance.
1,Main technical indicators:
(1) Appearance: Component A - milky white
viscous liquid; C component - dark brown viscous liquid.
(2) Solid content: Component A (S=29 ± 1%);
C component (S=99 ± 1%).
(3) PH value: Component A (5.0~7.0).
(4) Viscosity: Component A (15000-20000 mpa.s)/250C;
C component (200-400mpa.s)/250C.
2,Applicability: Widely
used for forming spherical or columnar solids in powder form of adsorption materials
such as diatomaceous earth.
3,Characteristics: (1) The
A/C component has good fastness, pressure resistance, and hardness after being
cured in proportion (1:5-15%).
(2) It has good water resistance, less
adhesive usage, reduces pore blockage, and excellent adsorption performance.
(3) The resin formed after the A/C
component is cured in proportion is a non-toxic material.
4,Applicable methods and precautions:
(1) Mix the components (A: C=45~60kg:
4.6~6) Mix evenly (an appropriate proportion of water can be added according to
actual needs/70-54kg and stir evenly).
(2) Mix diatomaceous earth and other
powdered solids in a certain proportion (100kg) with the above (A/C) mixed
adhesive in a mixer, then shape them (using different equipment to make columns
or balls as needed), dry them at 1300C/2 hours to form, and let them dry
naturally for 24 hours.
(3) Before using the glue, mix component A
evenly and add component C while stirring until uniform. This mixed adhesive
has a shelf life of 1-2 hours, which means it must be used up within the shelf
life, otherwise it cannot be used after curing.
(4) After using the adhesive A/C component,
the remaining adhesive must be sealed properly (especially when the C component
is prone to solidification and is scrapped).
(5) Do not mix with other adhesives to
avoid affecting the quality and effectiveness of the adhesive.
