TX-2188A/B(I) honeycomb activated carbon shaping adhesive

TX-2188A/B(I) honeycomb activated carbon sizing adhesive is a two-component water-based adhesive, suitable for extrusion molding of honeycomb-shaped activated carbon made from coconut shell carbon powder, wooden activated carbon powder, coal-based activated carbon powder, bamboo activated carbon powder, etc. Utilizing a new low-temperature energy-saving and emission-reduction process, unique groups undergo crosslinking reactions between molecules. After curing, it exhibits high iodine value (≥1000), high strength, resistance to breakage (high yield), and excellent water resistance, acid resistance, and alkali resistance.
1. Main technical indicators:
TX-2188A: (1) Appearance: milky white viscous liquid; (2) Solid content: S=22±1%; (3) pH value: 5.0~7.0; (4) Viscosity: 100000~120000 mPas/25℃. TX-2188B(I): solid powder (s= ~ 98%).
II. Applicability: Applicable to powdered activated carbon (one or multiple types) extruded into honeycomb-like activated carbon. III. Characteristics: (1) After being baked at 130℃ for 3 hours, this adhesive exhibits good strength and pressure resistance, extending the reuse time of adsorbent materials.
(2) It has a high iodine value (≥1000), high strength, and is not fragile (with a high yield rate).
(3) Excellent water, acid, and alkali resistance extend the service life of honeycomb carbon.
IV. Applicable methods and precautions:
(1) Mix glue A, B, and water in the ratio of 16:13kg:85~90kg until well combined. Stir the mixture thoroughly before using the glue, and gradually add water while stirring until it is fully mixed.
(2) Mix activated carbon powder (~coal) with the above mixed glue (add appropriate amount of water according to the situation) in a mixer at a certain ratio of 100kg, mix evenly, let it stand overnight → refine the mud → filter → extrude and shape → dehumidify → dry (130℃/3 hours).
(3) Do not mix it with other glues, as this may affect the quality and effectiveness of the glue.
(4) It should be stored in a dry and cool place, with a recommended storage and usage temperature range of 5~30℃, and direct sunlight should be avoided.
(5) Packaging specification: 50KG plastic drum (lined with plastic bag). Transported as general cargo.
