TX-2188A/B Wooden Columnar Activated Carbon Shaping Adhesive

TX-2188A/B is a two-component water-based adhesive suitable for molding wooden (or bamboo) activated carbon powder into cylindrical or spherical activated carbon. Utilizing a new low-temperature energy-saving and emission-reduction process, unique groups between molecules undergo cross-linking reactions. After curing, it exhibits excellent water resistance, acid resistance, and alkali resistance, thereby enhancing the service life of granular adsorbent materials in acid and alkali systems, saving costs, and improving efficiency.
1. Main technical indicators
TX-2188A: (1) Appearance: milky white viscous liquid; (2) Solid content: S=22±1%; (3) pH value: 5.0~7.0; (4) Viscosity: 100000~120000 mPas/25℃. TX-2188B: solid powder (s=~98%).
II. Applicability: Widely used for powdered activated carbon (wood, bamboo, and other biomass) molded into cylindrical or spherical solids.
III. Characteristics: (1) Columnar or spherical activated carbon, after being dried at 130℃ for 3 hours, exhibits good strength and pressure resistance

(2) The iodine value can reach ≥900~1000, and the wear resistance is ≥95%.
(3) It has good water resistance, acid resistance, and alkali resistance, which improves the service life of the adsorbent material.
(4) The resin formed after the A/B components are cured in proportion is a non-toxic material. IV. Application Methods and Precautions:
(1) Mix glue A, B, and water in the ratio of 20:30kg:185~260kg until well combined. Stir the mixture thoroughly before using the glue, and gradually add water while stirring until it is fully mixed.
(2) Mix activated carbon powder with the above mixed glue (add appropriate amount of water according to the situation) in a mixer at a certain ratio of 100kg, mix evenly, let it stand overnight → refine the mud → extrude and shape → dry (130℃/3 hours).
(3) After using component A, the remaining adhesive must be sealed properly.
(4) Do not mix it with other glues, as this may affect the quality and effectiveness of the glue.
(5) This product should be stored in a dry and cool place, with a recommended storage and usage temperature range of 5~30℃. Direct sunlight should be avoided.

V. Packaging specifications: TX-2188A/50Kg, TX-2188B/25Kg plastic drums. Transported as general cargo.
