TX-2188 (III) Diatomaceous Earth Molding Adhesive
TX --21 88 (III) diatomite setting adhesive is a two-component (A/C) acrylate copolymerization lotion adhesive, which is mainly applicable to diatomite and other adsorption materials powder solid forming spherical or columnar solid. The A/C components have independent functional groups that undergo cross-linking reactions, resulting in high hardness and good water resistance after curing. Less adhesive is used to reduce clogging and have excellent adsorption performance.
1、 Main technical indicators:
(1) Appearance: Component A - milky white viscous liquid; Component C - dark brown viscous liquid.
(2) Solid content: Component A (S=29 ± 1%); Component C (S=99 ± 1%).
(3) PH value: Component A (5.0~7.0).
(4) Viscosity: Component A (15000-2000mpa. s)/250C; Component C (200~400mpa. s)/250C.
2、 Applicability: Widely used for the formation of solid particles such as diatomaceous earth into spherical or columnar shapes.
3、 Features:
(1) After the A/C component is cured in proportion (1:5-15%), it has good fastness and pressure resistance, and good hardness.
(2) Has good water resistance, uses less glue, reduces clogging, and has excellent adsorption performance.
(3) The resin formed by the proportional curing of A/C components is a non-toxic material.
4、 Applicable methods and precautions:
(1) Mix the components (A: C=45~60kg: 4.6~6.2kg) evenly (an appropriate proportion of water/70~54kg can be added according to actual needs and stirred evenly).
(2) Mix powdered solids such as diatomaceous earth in a certain proportion (100kg) with the above (A/C) mixed glue in a mixer, then shape (choose different equipment to make columns or balls as needed), dry at 1300C/2 hours to form, and let it air dry naturally for 24 hours.
(3) Before using glue, stir component A evenly and add component C while stirring until it is uniform. This mixed adhesive has a 1-2 hour shelf life, which means it must be used up within the shelf life, otherwise it cannot be used after curing.
(4) After using the adhesive A/C component, the remaining adhesive must be sealed properly (especially the C component is prone to curing and being scrapped).
(5) Do not mix with other adhesives to avoid affecting the quality and effectiveness of the adhesive.
