TX-2188 (I) activated carbon molding adhesive



TX-2188 (I) setting adhesive is a two-component (A/B) acrylate copolymerization lotion adhesive, which is mainly used to form cylindrical or spherical solids with powdered activated carbon. The independent functional groups between A/B components undergo cross-linking reactions, and after curing, they have excellent water resistance, acid resistance, and alkali resistance functions, thereby improving the service life of adsorbent material particles in acid and alkali systems, saving costs, and improving efficiency.
1、 Main technical indicators:
(1) Appearance: Component A - milky white viscous liquid; B component - dark brown viscous liquid.
(2) Solid content: Component A (S=29 ± 1%); Component B (S=99 ± 1%).
(3) PH value: Component A (5.0~7.0).
(4) Viscosity: Component A (35000-45000mpa. s)/250C; B component (200-400mpa. s)/250C.
2、 Applicability: Widely used for forming cylindrical or spherical solids of powdered activated carbon.
3、 Features:
(1) After the A/B components are cured in proportion (100:10-20%), they have good fastness and pressure resistance, which extends the reusable time of the adsorbent material particles.
(2) It has good water resistance, acid resistance, and alkali resistance, which improves the service life of the adsorbent material.
(3) The resin formed after the A/B components are cured in proportion is a non-toxic material.
4、 Applicable methods and precautions:
(1) Mix component A: B=100: 10-20% evenly, and add a certain proportion of water according to actual needs and stir evenly.
(2) Mix powdered solids such as activated carbon with the above (A/B) adhesive and an appropriate amount of water in a mixer in a certain proportion
Mix evenly, then pelletize (columnar or spherical), dry at 130 ° C for 3 hours to form, and let it dry naturally for 24 hours.
(3) Before using glue, stir component A evenly, add component B while stirring, and then add an appropriate amount of water until it is even. This mixed adhesive has a shelf life of 1-2 hours, which means it must be used up within the shelf life, otherwise it cannot be used after curing.
(4) After using components A and B, the remaining adhesive must be sealed properly (especially component B, which is prone to curing and can be scrapped).
(5) Do not mix with other adhesives to avoid affecting the quality and effectiveness of the adhesive.
(6) This product should be stored in a dry and cool place, with a suitable storage and use temperature of 5-300 ° C, and avoid direct sunlight.
5、 Packaging specifications: TX-2188 (I) A/50 Kg, TX-2188 (I) B/25Kg, 200kg plastic drum. Transport ordinary goods.
